The name ‘Mix’ came from an annotation on a sketch, where Kaare Klint described the work as a ‘mix of Kindt and Klint’. Edvard Kindt Larsen was a pupil of Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where they both collaborated on the design of this piece. From 1931 it was produced by the cabinetmaker Rud Rasmussen as model 4396.
