'The highback sofa by Frits Henningsen, with its straight lines and boxy form, stands in sharp contrast to the almost whimsical “Dancing Chair”. Still, it remains among a handful of his models that hold a universal appeal. The sofa with its characteristic internal armrests allow the illusion of creating an intimate space for two people engaged in meaningful conversation.'
