Bar cabinet designed by Henning Korch for CF Christensen Silkeborg
Denmark, 1960s.

Rosewood and brass.

Henning Korch’s design aesthetic is characterised by the effective use of rosewood veneer and small colonial style brass handles. This compact yet tasteful bar cabinet has two doors with three practically integrated shelves for storing glasses or bottles. The rosewood pattern on the front and sides of the cabinet is striking. Henning Korch is known today for emphasising the natural beauty of wood; the furniture he made with the masterful furniture maker CF Christensen in Silkeborg is particularly sought after.
