Floor lamp model 2564 designed by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn,
Sweden, 1950s.

White lacquered brass and Lacquered Paper.

This elegant brass floor lamp is adjustable in height and stands on turned mahogany feet. Other models by Josef Frank have all-brass bases, but this lamp’s charming wooden elevation adds lightness to the overall design. A small screw in the middle of the lamp’s stem allows for height adjustment.

Josef Frank used either textile, metal or, in this case, lacquered card for the shades of his model 2564. An original brass crossbar secured from the outside by four round screws holds the shade in place at the top.
