Modernity at TEFAF Maastricht 2017

Modernity was pleased to participate in the much anticipated 30th edition of one of the world's most prestigious art fairs.

TEFAF took place between March 10 and March 19, 2017, in the Netherlands, at the Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Centre (MECC)..

The exhibition's highlight was an exceptional collection of hand-carved pieces by Danish master cabinetmaker Peder Moos. The armchair, table, stool and two pierced-back chairs embody the largest collection of Peder Moos' furniture currently available on the market.

The longest and rarest version of the BO101 rosewood bench by Danish designer Finn Juhl was also on display, surrounded by two Addition sofas by Kaare Klint and a stunning version of the Elizabeth chair by Ib Kofod-Larsen designed in 1956 and named after the Queen of England purchased a pair during a state visit to Denmark in 1958.

A unique desk and a chair made of rosewood and designed by Swedish architect Carl Hörvik for the 1930 Stockholm exhibition were also on view at our stand.

We are very pleased to share that we will be participating to TEFAF Maastricht's next edition, from March 9 to 18, 2018.
