Modernity Exhibits at Salon Art + Design New York 2022

Modernity is exhibiting at Salon Art + Design in New York, which runs from Thursday 10 November until Monday 14 November. The fair is held at the historic Park Avenue Armory in the Upper East Side, and this year will be our ninth year at Salon.

Salon Art + Design is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our collection of high-grade Nordic masterpieces in the US once again, following a three year break due to the pandemic. Being based in Stockholm and London, we have been eagerly anticipating the chance to invite our US clients to view our collection in person, and we are equally delighted to meet new faces at the fair.

We are located at booth C2 where you will find a carefully curated exhibition, hand-picked by our directors, Andrew Duncanson and Isaac Pineus. With our selection of pieces for Salon, we have chosen to display an interior that shows how twentieth-century Nordic design can be used in the modern home.

Furniture by Nordic design icons such as Finn Juhl, Axel Einar Hjorth and Carl Malmsten are paired with lighting by Paavo Tynell and Alvar Aalto. We are also exhibiting ceramics, glass, textiles and artworks by Kyllikki Salmenhaara, Edward Hald, Marianne Richter and Harry Booström.
