Pair of armchairs designed by H Brockman Pedersen for Louis G Thiersen & Son,
Denmark, 1950s.

Oak and rattan.

With their boxy, rectangular aesthetic, these mid-century armchairs by H Brockman Pedersen are notable Scandinavian collectables.

The distinct pattern of squares on the backrest created by the cane usage is visually appealing, and the larger square in the middle also functions as a stable connection point of the chair's components. While Brockman Pedersen is still relatively unknown to the masses, we have had some stunningly beautiful pieces by him in our collection.
