Description:

This extremely rare rosewood sideboard was designed by Helge Vestergaard Jensen in 1957. Characterised by a body of six “floating drawers” that hovers between the top and the legs, this is a light sideboard that elegantly provides storage space. The acclaimed cabinetmaker Sören Horn is one of only two manufacturers that produced this design.

Along with Finn Juhl, Helge Vestergaard Jensen was the most sculptural of the Danish masters, as can be seen in his table designs that frequently have branch-shaped legs.

Stamped.

Provenance:

From a private Danish collection.
