Einar Bäckströms Metallvarufabrik was a Malmö-based Swedish manufacturer active between 1918 and 1975, founded by the brothers Einar (1889–1978) and Sune Bäckström, both trained as ciselörs—craftsmen specialising in fine metal detailing. The company became known for its production of electric lighting and artistically crafted metal objects. Among its most iconic designs is table lamp model 5014, a refined example of Swedish mid-century modernism from the 1940s, admired for its balanced interplay of utility and elegance.
