Wall mounted sideboard designed by Erik Wörts for Wörts
Denmark, 1950s.

Brazilian rosewood.

This wall mounted sideboard in Brazilian rosewood has clean lines and provides ample storage. There are three compartments to the body with three sliding doors, two in glass and one in rosewood. Multiple shelves and pullout drawers allow different usage. The pattern created by the book matched rosewood veneer on all surfaces is exceptional — the design is simple yet exquisitely made.

This specific “floating” sideboard belongs to a dining room suite that includes a second sideboard, a dining table, twelve dining chairs, and a bar trolley designed on commission for a private Danish home in the 1950s. Erik Wørts was a prolific Danish furniture designer and cabinet maker.
