The “Royal” sofa by Werner West is wonderfully comfortable and elegant with its high, enveloping backrest and integrated arms. The cut-out fronts and fine Boucle upholstery give the sizeable piece its modern aesthetic, while the tall back legs offer strong support by kicking out for extra balance.Werner West designed his celebrated “Hugging Chair” in the 1930s and is known today as one of Finland’s most important 20th-century seating designers.
