Stool, anonymous,
Denmark, 1950s.

Dark stained teak.

Looking at the quality of workmanship in the use of wood and leather, this stool is a superb example of mid-century Danish furniture design. The elegant legs taper upwards and connect to the beautifully sculpted backrest and armrests. Ancient Egyptian or Asian chairs likely influenced the design's sling seat and general simplicity. This collectable is of the highest quality and in excellent condition.
