Provenance: This vase was exhibited at the Baltic exhibition in Malmö in 1914. The exhibition can be seen as the last major manifestation of the Art Nouveau style in Sweden. The exhibition area - in the current Pildammsparken - comprised 490,000 square meters.The exhibition poster, drawn by Ernst Norlind (1877-1952), showed, like the auction's vase, a picture of flying cranes.
