Arguably Sweden's top texile artist, Nilsson was hired to manage the renowned Märte Måås-Fjetterström weaving studio in Båstad in 1942, where she would remain for the next 30 years. She was greatly inspired by nature, finding sucess and worldwide recognition for a great deal of her designs. Many of these are displayed in the National Museum of Sweden.
