Pewter and glass.
Designed by Estrid Ericson for Svenskt Tenn in 1941, this pewter-framed mirror is among her most enduring and refined creations. The frame is cast in solid pewter, a material Ericson championed early in her career, and is crowned with a delicate laurel wreath motif. Classical in reference yet distinctly modern in execution, the design reflects her unique ability to bring ornamental detail into balance with Scandinavian restraint.
