Description:
This piece was designed for an exhibition in Stockholm in 1953. Mogensen chose the more specialist Tage M Christensen & Co for the manufacture of the chair. There are only two known examples in rosewood, and both were originally covered in the same fabric. Mogensen pioneered the use of wood and steel in the design of the chair, an idea that was considered avant-garde for the time.
