Description:

120 Stool is a footstool from the Danish brand AP Møbler. It was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1954 as an accessory to the Papa Bear Chair, but works just as well with other armchairs too. The construction is robust, with legs that pass through and are locked into the frame using traditional joinery techniques. The seat is padded with horsehair and cotton – a process that requires great precision and craftsmanship. Despite its modest size, the AP120 is an expression of Wegner’s uncompromising approach to quality and design. The footstool has handles on both sides of the central section, making it easy to move without affecting its function or form. AP120 works both as a footrest for armchairs and as a standalone stool.
