Description:

With its sculptural, rounded shade and playful proportions, this B-075 lamp is an outstanding example of Scandinavian mid-century lighting design. The piece is highly functional, featuring a clean construction and a small rod at the top of the shade that allows the light direction to be easily adjusted.

The B-075 model belongs to a series of floor and wall lamps that share the same distinctive shade form, making it a versatile and timeless addition to any interior.

Eje Ahlgren, one of the principal designers at the modernist Swedish lighting manufacturer Bergboms during the 1950s and 60s, developed this series as part of the company’s celebrated output. Bergboms was a key name in Scandinavian lighting and, in the 1940s, famously produced Greta Magnusson Grossman’s original “Grasshopper” floor lamp.
